One of the DC40’s main selling points is the 4.3 megapixel CCD image sensor with RGB Primary Color Filter. Excellent image quality with rich, vibrant colors can be expected, when recording both video and stills. Watching your creations couldn’t be easier, as they are recorded directly onto DVD-R/-RW discs which can be popped directly into just about any DVD player. Each 4.7 GB disc holds about 60 minutes of video.
Expect the Canon DC40 DVD Camcorder to hit shelves near the end of March, but you should start saving up those pennies now, because you’ll be put back $899.
