I might not go as far as to say this is “the most powerful laptop on Earth”, but I admit you’d be hard pressed to find anything else quite like CompAmerica’s ORCA FX2. This thing really does have it all and then some. The AMD FX-60 Dual Core CPU (2.6 GHz each) and nVidia 7800 GTX video are among the best in the business, putting the ORCA FX2 into more of a desktop replacement than a “true” portable notebook computer. They say it performs like a 6GHz PC.

Image quality is exceptional, with options for either 1050p or 1080p Progressive Scan. There’s also an optional TV Tuner complete with remote control. Keeping the machine safe and secure isn’t a problem with the CPU-based Enhanced Anti-Virus Technology. In the sound department, you’ll find a built-in 4.1 audio system—that’s right; the Orca FX2 even comes with an imbedded subwoofer.

The old adage goes, “You get what you pay for,” so in some sense, the Orca FX2 is worth its $3000 to $3500 price tag. If you do decide to pick one up, I’m confident you’ll be very impressed.
