Following in SanDisk’s footsteps, Keian of Japan have taken the wraps off an SD card that is not only waterproof, dustproof and shockproof but is also a portable USB drive. Storing and transferring information on the go just got even easier.

The PSd comes in two sizes, 128MB and 2GB. The former has a read-and-write speed of 13.5 MBps; the latter runs at 11MBps.

Keian have made a name for themselves in recent months with innovations in portable media players. Perhaps it’s no surprise, then, that the company have come up with a new way to store information from such devices.

And the fact that SanDisk got there first in no way diminishes this company’s achievement. In technological advancement matters such as this, many would argue, too much of a good thing is not yet possible.
