Marantz Professional, a major player in the global audio-video market, has introduced another exciting new product, the PMD671 Portable Solid State Recorder.

The most innovative feature of this new recorder is the read-after-write functionality, something not before found in a portable recording device. It can record 24-bit 96 kHz audio. It supports MP3 and WAV formats, and it stores the recorded files onto CF or MicroDrive.

Other standard features include a USB port, programmable presets, an internal battery pack, and a digital and analog out. An optional wired remote control is also offered.
