Nokia 6280 hits Europe

The Nokia 6280 is one slick slider phone and is now available in Europe. Packed with features, it’s a tri-band GSM phone with WCDMA and EDGE for speedy surfing. You can choose how you want to talk since it supports push-to-talk and handsfree speakerphone.

There are not one, but two cameras on the phone. A 2 megapixel camera is for snapping your pics, while a VGA camera can be used for two-way video conferencing. A 320 x 240 pixel, 262k color screen will display the output from both cameras nicely. You can also watch saved or streaming video in a variety of formats. Music can be played, too, also in a range of formats. An FM stereo radio is tacked on if you want something more live to listen to. Visual radio means you don’t just have to listen to the radio, you can interact. All of the multimedia is supported by just 70MB of internal memory, but it has a miniSD slot and cards can be switched without turning off the phone.

The phone measures 100 x 46 x 21 mm and weighs 115 grams. It is available now in Europe for $670.
