If Las Vegas doesn’t already have enough ways for you to have fun and spend a bunch of money, GM is developing a new way for you to get your thrills in Sin City. In partnership with the Sahara Hotel & Casino, GM is building ‘The Drive’, which they are calling a hands-on driving ‘autotainment’ experience. The Drive will be located just off the strip behind the Sahara and should open in the spring.

A half-mile performance course at the facility will let you test out high performance GM cars like the Corvette, Pontiac GTO, Cadillac CTS-V and STS-V, Pontiac Solstice and Saab 9-3 convertible without worrying about getting a speeding ticket. There will also be an off-road course where you can take a Hummer H2 or H3, Chevy Silverado, Tahoe, Yukon Denali, Escalade or Suburban for a spin off the pavement.

No word on what it will cost or why they didn’t pick a nicer casino than the Sahara to partner with, but it should still be fun.
