VoSKY Call Center brings Skype to your cell phone
The VoSKY Call Center, which was unveiled last week at CES, provides you with another way to make Skype calls. It lets you use your mobile phone. Now you can call your friends on Skype even if you are far away from your computer. You can use landlines, too, if that is easier.
It works like this. You plug in the VoSKY Call Center into both your phone line and your PC. Then all you have to do is call the number attached to the Call Center and follow the voice prompts. You can then make Skype calls to anyone anywhere in the world for just the cost of the cell call. You can also receive incoming calls using the call forwarding feature. Your phone can be set to ring whenever one of your Skype contacts comes online. Then all you have to do is press 1 to connect to that contact.
The Call Center can be useful if you have a broadband connection at the office, but not at home. Just hook up the Call Center at work and you can use Skype on your off time. It hooks up to the USB port on your computer and any standard phone line. Of course, it still allows you to use your phone as you normally would. The Call Center is available now for $69.95.
