XtremeMac thought about everything when they developed the MicroMemo. Using your iPod’s internal battery and attached to the Dock connector, the detachable unit features one touch recording either through its included removable microphone or any compatible 3.5 mm plug-in device.

The unit shows great flexibility with one-touch recording that switches from play to record modes automatically. The hits keep on coming with a built in speaker for checking output and the ability to record from any audio device with a 3.5 mm connection. The recordings promise to be sharp: the MicroMemo takes advantage of iPod’s 16-bit audio. This expands the range from voice memos to professional level recordings.

XtremeMac expects to ship MicroMemo by late spring with a MSRP of $79.95.
