Logitech’s sleek white cordless desktop for Macs

Apple is known for its elegant simplicity, from iBooks to iPods, and Logitech recognizes the appeal of such a look for so many consumers. That is why the peripheral maker is launching the Cordless Desktop S530 Laser for Mac — the keyboard and mouse combination sports the same look we’ve come to know and love from Apple Computer.

The silver-accented soft white keyboard is ultra-flat and less than three-quarters of an inch high. To make your typing fantasies just that much more comfortable, a large built-in palm rest can also be found on the keyboard. For fast control of all your favorite online and multimedia content, 15 shortcut keys can be found along two narrow panels, one on each side of the keyboard. This allows for easy access to all your usual iApplications, like iTunes and iPhoto.

The mouse has the same silver accents and soft white look as its keyboard cousin. Logitech’s laser tracking technology aids in keeping the precision high, which is of utmost importance to all you desktop publishers and photo editors out there. There are also five customizable buttons to go with the tilt wheel design. Unfortunately for you lefties, the mouse seems sculpted for right-handed users.

With a battery life of up to six months on a single charge, the Logitech Cordless Desktop S 530 will be available state-side in February for just under $100.
