Creative ZenCast offers free audio and video blog content

If you are a user of a Creative Zen MP3 player this will make you happy. Creative has unveiled ZenCast, which will offer free audio and video content for select Zen players. ZenCast will allow users to access, create and transfer audio and video blogs.

The ZenCast website offers a range of channels in which you can choose the content you want. As well, there are “What’s New” and “Today’s Top Ten” features. The site will offer breaking news and broadcasts from commercial providers along with the ability to create your own show for others to hear.

To allow you to manage the content, Creative has created ZenCast Organizer, a software application that lets you choose and manage content and sync it with your Creative player. A beta version of ZenCast Organizer is available to Zen Vision and Zen Vision:M owners today. It will be shipping with new units in the first half of this year. The whole ZenCast experience will be on display at CES this week.
