Motorola’s PEBL has arrived in the US. It’s a clamshell design derived from the RAZR and inspired by smooth pebbles you would find in a stream.

Outside of the inspiration, it is pretty much what you would expect from a high end Motorola phone. It has quadband GSM for the best connections. You would expect Bluetooth to give you more mobility and handsfree options and you won’t be disappointed. It has a VGA camera and a 176 x 220 pixel screen with 262,000 colors to show off your pictures. There is 5MB of memory to store your photos. It has speakerphone, voice recorder and voice activated dialing. The size of the phone is 1.93×3.41×0.79 inches and weighs 3.9 ounces. Talk time on the phone is 6.75 hours with 12 days of stand-by.

The features are nice but, like the RAZR, this phone is as much about form as function. The phone is available from T-Mobile. It can be had for $299 with a 1 year contract.
