To coincide with their recently launched Push-to-Talk (PTT) service, Cingular has announced that it will be carrying the new LG F7200. The slightly chubby slider phone allows for simple, two-way walkie-talkie capabilities, and comes with a number of standard features like a full 65K color TFT LCD screen, speakerphone, and enhanced messaging services. The dual-band (850/1900 MHz) phone comes with 24MB of flash memory and a 960 mAh lithium-ion battery, providing up to 3 hours of talk time and 8 days of standby.
You can store up to 99 PTT contacts, talking to up to 20 people with a single push of the button, and they’ve made it easy for you to switch from your PTT calls to regular cellular calls. Other than that, expect voice-activated dialing, an internal antenna, Java 2.0 support, polyphonic ringtones, and a WAP 2.0 browser. Weighing in at 4.06 oz, the F7200 is 4.05” x 1.95” x 1.02”. Cingular is currently offering an introductory price of $69.99 for two handsets. Pick them up at select Cingular Wireless stores or online at cingular.com.
