Ogo gets MSN Messenger and Hotmail

IXI Mobile, the company that creates Ogo products, has been working hard to break through as a developer of mobile messaging solutions. Today, they have announced that they will be supported by one of the largest brands around, Microsoft. The new agreement will make MSN Messenger and Hotmail available on Ogo devices.

Ogo provides a turnkey solution to mobile providers including devices and hosted services which are customized for territories and service providers. The two offerings from Microsoft will enhance the offerings and the appeal to the wide market. The devices, which have a full screen, QWERTY keyboard, simple interface and clamshell design, can already receive email and IM from AOL and Yahoo!.

“MSN is very pleased to collaborate with IXI Mobile on the Ogo offering designed for the mass market audience which will allow MSN to expand the availability of its global services by bringing its integrated IM and email customer experience to more users,” said Matt Champagne, director of MSN Mobile at Microsoft Corp.
