Getting words off the pages of a book or magazine and onto your computer has always been a problem. Character recognition software is a fine idea, but it works much better in theory than practice. The IRIS Pen Express may help solve this problem.

The IRIS connects to a computers USB port. When you move the pen over the words as if you were underlining them, they show up on your screen wherever your cursor is and is compatible with multiple applications.

The IRIS is thicker than a regular pen, but no longer, so you can easily carry it with you wherever you go. You might never have to take notes by hand from a text book again.

The IRIS Pen Express is available for both Mac and PC and costs about $150.
