Microsoft Office 12 beta 1 mobile due out next week

Microsoft will make Office 12 beta 1 for mobile devices available next week. They are being typically secretive about exactly what Office 12 will ultimately include, but that doesn’t stop people from predicting. Among the expected changes and improvements are new viewers for Word, Excel and PowerPoint, limited editing capabilities for Word and Excel, and support for rights management and the XML file format.

We can also look forward to Microsoft OneNote Mobile, the mobile version of OneNote, the note taking software. The word is that this will allow you to take full advantage of your smartphone. You can take photos with the digital camera and include them right in the notes.
