Fujitsu LifeBook P7120 only 24.3mm thick

Fujitsu has come out with the LifeBook P7120, following the previous model P7010. This light notebook is equipped with a DVD super multidrive, secure fingerprint recognition sensor and a magnesium alloy body weighing in at only 1.27kg and 24.3mm thick.

In the P7120 is a super thin LCD with superior color reproduction and LED backlighting, and 20% upgraded brightness over CCFL backlight. The ECO function switches the system into power saving mode and disables the power to the PC card slot, we don’t know how much energy savings this provides, but Fujitsu says it helps.

This new LifeBook has two different variations available, the P7120 (Intel Pentium-M ULV 753-1.2GHz) and P7120D (Intel Celeron-M ULV 383-1.0GHz). Both models have 512MB DDR2-400,10.6-inch Wide XGA super fine LCD, 60GB HDD, 802.11a/b/g wireless lan, Bluetooth 1.2, fingerprint recognition sensor, Memory Stick(Pro)/SD/xD Picture card sharing slot, USB2.0 slot and IEEE1394.

The prices are US $2250.00 for the P7120SDM1 and $1799 for the P7120DCM10. It will be first sold exclusively from InterPark Korea, no known availability for the rest of the world.
