FunTwist D-Chord 800 makes Bluetooth fun

Funtwist’s new D-Chord 800 combines two of the hottest trends today: Bluetooth and portable MP3 players. Supporting MP3, WMA and WAV formats, this new digital music player also features 7 equalizers, ID3 tag display, and plenty of life out of its 720mAh Li-Polymer battery. When using the Bluetooth headphones, you get six hours, but when using conventional wired headphones, there is fifteen hours of music listening. The D-Chord 800 makes use of SigmaTel’s STMP3510 portable, digital audio System on Chip (SoC) solution, and connects to your PC with Hi-Speed USB 2.0.

SigmaTel’s president and CEO, Ron Edgerton, proudly says, “The D-Chord 800 will offer users industry-leading audio quality, and the addition of Bluetooth capabilities will allow them to enjoy music wirelessly.” President of FunTwist, Lewis Lu, agrees, “We deliberately challenge conventional logic and design products that take into account the entire user experience… The new D-Chord800 is the latest example of this ethos in action, and we are grateful to SigmaTel for their support and technology that has made it possible.”

The D-Chord will be available in 256MB, 512MB and 1GB models, where, is what don’t know.
