Targus has released a new set of notebook bags for urban individuals. The Urban collection has four styles: the Urban Messenger, Urban Topload, Urban Backpack and Urban Travel Roller. From the names you can guess about what they look like. Targus says that they sport bright colors and an urban-like design (whatever that means) to provide an alternative to the plain black case that everyone has.

“The Urban collection’s edgier appeal offers a unique and stylish alternative in the marketplace for young professionals carrying notebooks,” said Steven Robert, Targus general manager. “We created a more trendy and fashionable line of cases to appeal to the young professional’s desire for design and functionality, featuring vibrant colors and personalized pockets that carry a notebook and all essential mobile accessories.” Those pockets include aspecialized iPod pocket with headphone port and a six-slot CD holder.

Prices range from $59.99 for the Messenger to $119.99 for the Travel Roller. All four designs can accommodate screen sizes up to 15.4 inches. They are available today.
