It may look like the calculator you used in grade school, but the Samsung P300 is really one slim little phone. It’s just 8.9 mm tall. For those of you who are metrically impaired, that is just a hair (literally) more than 1/3 of an inch. It’s only 87 mm long and 54 mm wide, too, so there isn’t a whole lot of wasted space. The space is used well, though – it has triband GSM/GPRS capabilities, a 1.3 megapixel camera, 80MB of memory for tunes or pics, 4MB of memory for Java operations, a WAP 2.0 Browser, Bluetooth and, fittingly, a calculator.
If bulges in your pockets are the kind of things that keep you up at night then this is the answer to your dreams. There are packs of gum that will put a bigger bump in your profile than this phone. Heck, your credit cards aren’t much smaller.
There is no word yet as to when this small wonder will be available or how closely the price will match the size.
