Korean gadget manufacturer Cowon has finally started selling their A2 Personal Multimedia Player in the United States via their online store. The 30-GB version is priced at $449.

The A2 was on display early this year at the Consumer Electronics Show, showing off its gorgeous 4-inch widescreen TFT LCD display with a 480 x 272 resolution. It also features built-in stereo speakers that actually produce decent quality sound. On the video side, it’ll take Windows Media, DivX and XviD coded movies, as well as JPEG and BMP still images. On the audio side, the A2 supports MP3, WMA and Ogg Vorbis formats.
