The Sony Playstation Portable (PSP), has been on the Japanese market for nearly one year, and the executives over at Sony have decided to lower prices on a number of their best-selling games, but only over in the land of the rising sun.

Thirteen Sony PSP titles in total will lower their MSRPs to about 2800 Yen (including tax), or about $24 USD. The prices will start dropping in November and December on such hits as Ridge Racer and Need for Speed Underground. Although no plans of a similar price break have been announced for the European and American markets as of yet, don’t be surprised if a similar measure is taken for this year’s holiday season over on our shores.
