Two Small Samsung mp3 players make it to North America

It took awhile for the Samsung YP-1UX and YP-U1Z mp3 players to make their way across the ocean from Korea, but it could be worth the wait since these look like a couple of nice units. They are small (3.3”x0.9”x0.5”) and they are light. The YP-1UX comes in black and is available in 512MB or 1GB flash models. The YP-U1Z is the white knight and it comes with flash memory up to 2GB.

Both models have a 4-line LED display, voice recording, support plenty of formats (MPEG, MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, WAV) and a fold out USB 2.0 interface. The lithium batteries provide 13 hours of play time.
