Turns out we love our videos. The iTunes store has only been offering videos for download for 20 days, but they have already sold 1 million.

Steve Jobs is quoted saying: “Selling one million videos in less than 20 days strongly suggests there is a market for legal video downloads”. Never accuse Mr. Jobs of not having a clear grasp of the obvious.

There are more than 2,000 music videos, short films by Pixar and TV shows available for just $1.99. One would hope that this early success and presumably continued strong iPod sales will cause other content providers to jump on this train and make more content available for download. Clearly more content is needed, since Michael Jackson videos are currently some of the most popular downloads.
