Samsung Reveals $150,000 Plasma Display

Samsung Electronics has come out with the world’s biggest Plasma Display Television (PDP), the 80-inch TV sports a 16:9 wide screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels, full HD.

This is also the biggest TV to adopt the DNIe (Digital Natural Image engine). It can produce any type of image with a contrast ratio of 2000:1. In respects of sound, it can also produce a virtual 5.1 channel with 3D sound (SRS True surround XT) and Dolby digital.

This TV is part of Samsungs ‘Dignity Marketing’, promoting their TVs art centres and museums. The price set at a whopping US $150,000.
