With the iPod Nano being easily scratched and beat up, the best solution would be a hard, durable and natural case, lets call it the iWood. Miniot, a company who feels that cutting down rare exotic trees for the purpose of encapsulating your electronic devices, has released just that. Several types of cases for the iPod Nano made of wood are available from the company, and they called it the iWood, couldn’t get much more iClever if you ask me. You can help destroy the forests by choosing one of the five wood styles available; maple, mahogany, pear, wenge and walnut.

The product, which will be shipped from 20th of October, has already received adoption by none other then Mr. Bill Gates himself, a true forest ranger and protector of the lands. He had the iWood personally carved for his wife Melinda, “To Melinda, try not to use this one for fire wood, Love Bill”.
