Apple Laptops with Built-In Video Cameras?

Here is some daily Mac Crack for you Apple fanatics. In a recently published patent application reveals that Apple has considered integrating a tiny video camera into the latch of their laptops. Apple insider speculates that this would be used in conjunction with their iChat audio/video conferencing software.

According to the filing that was made on March 12, 2004, they describe the camera built into the latch which will include a rotating the latch for different angles. It also includes details about using a CCD or CMOS image sensor.

Who knows, in the near future we could see it popping up on Apple laptops. That is all from the rumor mill!
