Ricoh is on a camera releasing spree this week. Now they are announcing their new digital point-and-shoot compact named the Caplio RR530. The new camera houses a 5.0 megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom and 4x digital lens.

The other features are pretty standard these days for a point and shoot; 12MB internal memory, SD card supported, and a 1.8-inch LCD. Shooting modes will include portrait, landscape, sports, night and movie mode. In addition you can use the camera as a webcam, but only if you run Windows XP according to the press release. The compact form factor will weigh in at 130g.
