Sony has flipped the lid on their new 5.1 megapixel digital camera with MPEG-4 movie capturing abilities.
The design of the M2 with the large 2.5-inch LCD screen resembles the PSP, it can play your digital photo creations in a slideshow with music. The body is made of aluminum and has a sleek look to it with the swiveling LCD screen. The camera also features a stereo microphone and stereo playback when you output your slideshow to TV.
Every picture you take is stored twice, once on your Sony Memory Stick at full resolution, and one VGA version on the M2’s personal memory so you can play your past 1100 shots to your friends and family. Once the total capacity is reached, it will replace the old ones with the new ones.
The new Sony Cyber-shot M2 should hit streets in Europe come November with no word on a North American release date. Expect a price of around US $700.
