Pioneer VSX-74TXVi and VSX-72TXV iPod-ready home AV receivers

Pioneer has just released a pair of XM Satellite Radio and iPod compatible A/V Receivers for the home. Their Pioneer Elite A/V VSX-74TXVi and VSX-72TXV receivers act as the “brains” behind your home theater.

Aside from automatic room-tuning that processes the sweet spot for you without any moving of your speakers, the two HDTV ready receivers will link your iPod directly for ultimate control from the receivers remote. A 14-character display will show id3 tags, as well as full display navigation on your TV.

XM Ready will let you connect an XM antenna for your monthly programming, adding 100s of music programming, sports, news and entertainment channels.

The VSX-74TXVi and VSX-72TXV are priced at $1,500 and $1,200 respectively and are available now.
