Archos Updates Gmini portable media player

Archos, a well known name in miniature photo, music, video and data storage products, has upgraded its Gmini 400 portable media player with the Gmini 402. The ultra light updated weighs just 160g and has dimensions of 4.1 x 2.3 x 0.7 inches.

The Gmini 402 has lost the CF card slot which its predecessor had, it has been replaced by a USB 2.0 interface with direct transfer capabilities. This facilitates users to download files directly from other storage devices like digital cameras, card readers, USB keys, and powered portable hard drives.

The Gmini 402 also supports auto-synchronization of its content with Windows Media Player 10. Your Windows Media Player 10 library content can also be converted into desirable file formats that can be stored on your computer.
