Creative introduces OLED based MuVo Vidz

The Personal Video Player market is getting crowded. Inspired by the reception of Korean MP3 Player Sorell’s SF3500 in particular, Creative Technology Ltd., a worldwide leader in digital entertainment products, is launching a brand new minute media flash player for the Asian market, under the label of “MuVo Vidz”.

MuVo Vidz boasts 1GB of memory that can store up to 500 songs, 8 hours of video, hundreds of photo and is designed in a stylish silver shade casing. A smaller 512 MB variant can hold 250 Songs, 4 hours video and of course hundreds of Photos (Black and Pink only).

The display window is fitted with a 1.18″ OLED wide screen that has the capability to show 65,536-colors. The 32 x 66 x 15.7 mm device comes with FM Radio tuner and recorder, with 20 station tuning. As far as voice recording is concerned, the user can store as much as 32 hours on the 1 GB version, it also supports line-in recording. A Li-ion polymer-embedded battery that up to 10 hours of audio playback.

The MuVo Vidz 1GB can hold up to 8 hours of video at 150 kbps in MPEG-4 format. No price or North American availability is known.
