Globalsat has revealed that their new SD-502 SDIO GPS receiver unveiled at CeBIT earlier this year, will be shipping soon and features the Sarantel GeoHelix GPS antenna. This receiver provides instant navigational capabilities and high performance GPS while on the move.

The SD-502 will allow users to turn their PDAs and smartphones with SD support into a GPS navigation device. You won’t lose memory either, with the SD-502’s built-in 512MB of memory, you can store all your information, even large map data.
