TuneBox for your iPod Shuffle from Griffin Technologies

Griffin Technology, makers of the popular iPod accessories such as the iTrip, have announced an inexpensive speaker setup for the iPod shuffle.

The TuneBox has 4 micro driver speakers capable of 4 watts over the 2 speakers. The input is a 3.5mm jack so you can plug in any device you wish. The only draw back is that it isn’t portable as it runs of an AC adapter (100-240 VAC 50-60 Hz 0.5A).

TuneBox keeps the shuffle’s clickwheel controls up front within easy reach. Though it’s designed to visually complement the iPod shuffle, TuneBox delivers great sound from any Mp3 player or other audio device that uses the standard 3.5mm stereo jack.

The Griffin Tunebox is available now from their website for a nice low price of $39.99.
