LG Electronics MobileComm and Verizon Wireless have just launched the VX5200, a camera phone that features LG’s trademark ‘hip and fashionable’ clamshell design, and a plethora of handset capabilities that include a full duplex speakerphone with advanced voice command features.

The VX5200 ships with a VGA CMOS digital camera. It features digital zoom, integrated flash and enough memory to hold as much as 200 photos. The new handset also has access to Verizon’s Get It Now wireless service and Mobile Web 2.0 services.

Advanced voice command and full duplex speakerphone capabilities will appeal to many, users can receive audio confirmation when menu selections are made, and speaker-independent voice recognition and voice command features enable the mobile hands-free function.

Available for US $49.99 after a US $50 mail-in rebate and of course a 2-year Verizon Wireless plan.
