Acer America brings to market the TravelMate 4020, the latest notebook computer to be added to its top of the line TravelMate product line. The new notebooks, which ship with Intel Centrino Mobile Technology and PCI Express technology, are aimed at the SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) and Small and Medium Business (SMB) sector.
The Acer TravelMate 4020 series has a thin and compact design. It features a 15.4″ WXGA widescreen color TFT LCD with a picture resolution of up to 1280 x 800 pixels and Intel 915GM integrated 3D graphics incorporating an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 with 64MB video memory. It has a 60GB hard drive in addition to a CDRW/DVD-ROM combo drive.
Software-wise, the new notebook series ships with Microsoft Windows XP Pro and a host of other applications that includes the Acer eManager (ePresentation, eSetting, ePowerManagement and eRecovery for better notebook handling) and Acer GridVista; great if you need to preview different applications all at the same time, this tool allows up to four windows to be featured concurrently.
