LG Russia will soon be offering mobile consumers in the country a new slim handset, the LG B2250. The company has officially confirmed the launch of this mid-range candy bar handset in the market coming in the next few months.
As far as features come, the B2250 is likely to be a little light with only a VGA camera, basic pre-installed applications, and 40 voice polyphonies. But what the handset is lacking in, the company hopes to compensate with in design. With a thickness of only 15mm (0.59”), the product will be relying on its slim design as its USP and LG Russia hopes it will give a tough competition to Siemens CC75 series of slim handsets which happen to be very popular. The LG B2250, however, is slightly thicker than the CC75 – by a measurement of 2.4mm (0.09 inches) to be precise. But LG is making use of this slightly broader space by fitting in a camera and a much improved 262k colour display. It also features a multi color back light.
Among other noticeable features – LG B2250 will also possess a vibration alarm, downloadable Java games, a call minute minder, and full SMS/EMS/MMS support.
