The Sony Ericsson K750i has everything that you could want in a high-powered camera phone, 2.0 megapixel imaging sensor, video capture in 3GP and is expected to be available to the US market soon.
It appeared this week on the US Sony Ericsson website, although the K750i may sound unfamiliar to many people, it’s identical to T-Mobile UK’s D750i. They could call it the P750i for all I care, as long as it makes it over seas.
An easy to handle user interface with a media player that supports MPEG4/MP3/3GP/WAV files is bound to capture the imagination (and the wallets) of those phone owners who like to point, shoot and play.
Sony Ericsson goes the full monty with built-in, easy to use image management software which allows you to create personalized photo albums, add digital effects to images and email them off to friends and family. You can store a bunch of images on the internal 32MB of memory, or add some more via the Memory Stick Duo slot. The K730i also syncs easily with your laptop and allows you to download the images without any special installation etc.
No official announcement on this from Sony Ericsson, all speculation of course, but it appearing on the US website is a good indicator something is in the works.
