
Other features include a large 2.5-inch LCD screen, 3x optical zoom (37-11mm 35mm equivalent), and a 5cm macro mode. The camera will also record movies with sound at 640×480 @20 frames per second with optical zoom and anti-shake enabled. ISO’s include 50, 100, and 200 for low light situations. Also included in the package is a docking station for easy picture transfer and on top of that the camera is Pictbridge compatible. As for size and weight, the X1 will measure in at 95 x 68 x 19.5mm and weigh 135grams.
The DImage X1 will go on sale in September for a price of around US $520. There is also an optional underwater marine case available, but no word on the price for that.
