I/O Magic is hoping to cash in on the fact that these days most major computer manufactures make you select a floppy drive as an option rather than include them in the package. They have announced their new DataStation 2; a portable USB 2.0 floppy drive! That’s not all it has, it also has a 7-in-1 media card reader built in.

The DataStation lives off power from your USB 2.0 port so you can run it off your laptop. The card reader supports Compact Flash (CF), IBM Micro Drive, Multimedia (MMC), Secure Digital (SD), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick PRO and Smart Media (SM).

Not the most exciting product out there, but its semi-cheap solution if you are looking for one. The drive will retail at around $60 US and should be available immediately.
