A pact between two mega-phone giants has been announced today, Motorola and Samsung plan to share their technological information to better their products and save themselves what could be millions in intellectual property disputes.

A RAZR slim handset with 7.0 megapixel image sensor? It could very well be next. But this is not the first pact between mega manufacturers, LG Electronics and Matsushita formed an alliance to settle a dispute over plasma display technologies, now they cross license each other patents on plasma, portable computers and DVDs.

Motorola is the second largest mobile phone maker, while Samsung is third, maybe this will help overtake Nokia; number one in the world.
