A few days ago Apple released their new version of their iTunes 4.9 software which included Podcast bookmarking via their new Podcast directory. Today they announced that in just two days customers have subscribed to more than one million Podcasts.

Podcast this, Podcast that. I guess this Podcasting stuff is here to stay.

“Podcasting is like cappuccino,” said August Trometer, developer of iPodderX. “Gourmet coffee was around for a long time, but it took Starbucks to put it on the map. Apple is like the Starbucks of Podcasting and advertisers will take us more seriously now.”

Ok, someone has to calm that guy down as it sounds he drinks way too much cappuccino.
