T-Mobile Starts with Google

T-Mobile users will be pleased to know that when they open up their Internet browser on their mobile phone, Google will be the first to appear.

A partnership between Europe’s second-largest mobile operator and Google, will give mobile Internet surfers the award-winning search engine with just the touch of a few buttons.

T-Mobile’s web’n’walk service offers customers attractive service packages for mobile access to the World Wide Web. web’n’walk is sporting Google as the start-up page; this service will initially be available on the Sidekick II, MDA compact, MDA III, the new model of SDA and Nokia models 6680 9300 and 9500.

“By providing the Google search engine, T-Mobile is giving its customers who access the Internet from a cell phone using the new web’n’walk service the ideal starting point for excursions into the World Wide Web.” T-Mobile reported in their press release.

web’n’walk offers are now available in Germany and Austria while Great Britain, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic will get the service later this year.
