Verizon Wireless adds Samsung SCH-i730 Pocket PC Phone to Lineup

Verizon Wireless has announced their addition of the new Samsung SCH-i730 Pocket PC phone to their large available device list. They have also announced new rates that combine voice and unlimited data access plans; this will come in to play on June 27th.

The Samsung SCH-i730 is a PDA phone with support for EV-DO high-speed data, built in Wi-Fi (802.11b), Bluetooth wireless, and a mini QWERTY keyboard. The OS of choice, Windows Mobile, will also include Blackberry e-mail support as well as regular POP3 support.

As for the processing and memory specifications the i730 will come with a 520MHz processor with 64MB of RAM. To store all your info the i730 will come with 128MB of personal memory and a SDIO expansion card slot.

The Samsung SCH-i730 will be available on the 7th of July from any Verizon Wireless Communications store and online at www.verizonwireless.com. No word yet on pricing.

$169.99 monthly access
A savings of $24.99 a month if purchased separately
