Rok Brings Mobile Entertainment to Mobile Phones via Memory Cards

TV on mobile phones is slowing becoming a common feature, but what about full-length movies? ROK Entertainment group is a mobile content provider, they have released Shawshank Redemption last week for smartphone, and ‘Liverpool – Champions of Europe’ on memory card for mobile phone play.

Shawshank Redemption is the first full-length film on memory cards to be released for use in mobile phones. Champions of Europe highlights Liverpool’s amazing 2004/2005 season, with the dramatic penalty shoot-out win against AC Milan. The memory card contains over 2 hours of action with all the goals, player interviews and commentaries.

Both these films play from the ROK Player, a Series 60 application that is supported on 14 Nokia models. Shawshank Redemption sells for £19.99 directly from ROK, Champions of Europe will be available shortly; no price yet.
