Kyocera’s new Dorado KX13 BREW-enabled phone

Kyocera Wireless has announced a new BREW-enabled phone at the BREW 2005 Conference in San Diego. The CDMA Dorado KX13 is a candybar style handset that features a large colour screen, front facing speaker phone, blue backlit keypad, built in LED flashlight, and an internal antenna.

As for the software aspect, the KX13 features predictive text, 32-chord polyphonic ring tones, WAP 2.0 browser, BREW 2.1/Java support, and the usual standard apps such as scheduler, calculator, alarm clock, stopwatch, tip calculator and a world clock.

The phone will measure 4.37 in. x 1.93 in. x .83 in. and weighs 3.7 ounces. The battery life should last you 3.8 hours of CDMA talk time with 160 standby hours.
