palmOne Treo 650 Now Available on Verizon

The palmOne Treo 650 smartphone is now available from Verizon Wireless. Earlier this past February, Cingular introduced this popular device to their lineup.

Verizon clocked the average data transmission speed between 60 and 80 kilobits per second (Kbps) with bursts of up to 144 Kbps on their high speed network. Of course the plan will cost you $45 per month for unlimited data on top of your voice plan.

Specifications Include:

• Enhanced camera with video capture
• Vibrant high-resolution Screen 320 × 320 color screen for viewing emails, calendar, web etc.
• MP3 player
• Connectivity via Bluetooth (for certain profiles*).
• Palm OS 5.4
• Speaker Phone
• Secure Digital Card (SD I/O) Expansion Slot—Add memory and accessories
