New Olympus Stylus Verve Hits 8 Megapixels

Olympus has announced a new 8 megapixel version of its Stylus Verve. The stylish Stylus Verve 800 (named µ Digital 800 in Euro) will be available in silver or dark blue metallic finish. The camera is also waterproof up to publication 529 IPX4, which means it’s protected against splashes from any direction.

As for technical specs, the camera will have 3x optical zoom, 2.5-inch LCD screen, movie mode, 3cm macro mode, and takes a Li-Ion battery. 19MB of internal storage to store your pics, or purchase a xD card which at this current time should get you around 1GB of space.

The Stylus Verve 800 should hit streets in July for an unknown price.
