Nokia is going sporty with their new Nokia 5140i camera phone. The tri-band (EGSM 900 GSM 1800/1900) phone is being aimed at the outdoor fitness enthusiasts due to its durability and connectivity to Polar Electro’s fitness training devices.

The training aspect of the phone comes into play in conjunction with Polar Electro’s training wrist computers which are designed for fitness, running, cycling and outdoor enthusiasts.Once you are finished your training simply connect up the computer to the phone and your data can be transferred and viewed graphically on thee 5140.

Other features include MP3 ring tones, FM radio, push-to-talk functionality, and a VGA camera. Coincidentally the black model also looks like the Bat Mobile.

Expect to see the phone available in the second quarter of 2005 for a price of 200 EUR. No word on a North American release date and price.
