Navigon MobileNavigator|5 was announced today for GPS navigation compatible with many devices. The latest MN|5 software is available with maps for North America, 27 European countries and six Gulf States, and in 16 different languages. It’s wide adaptability makes MN|5 available to various mobile platforms such as PDAs, PNAs and mobile phones. Navigon is also working with BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Ford and Continental, to bring specialized, advanced navigation systems to new vehicles on the market.

The announcement came today at the 2005 CTIA Wireless trade show in New Orleans, La. Navigon was the pioneer in GPS navigation with the world’s first mobile GPS navigation system released in 1997. The MobileNavigator|5 software is expected out in Q2 of 2005.
