Sony’s MZ-DH10P is their ultimate multi-capable digital music, imaging and storage device just unveiled today. Being classified as a Hi-MD Walkman digital music player, the MZ-DH10P adds even more than just music, it includes a combination of Sony creations; an embedded a 1.3 megapixel camera, a 1.5-inch color TFT LCD, digital audio recorder and of course MP3, ATRAC3, WMA and WAV audio playback.

The Hi-MD disc is capable of storing up to 1GB of digital audio, photos and other miscelaneous storage and it will only cost you $7 per disc! Data can be quickly transferred back and forth over USB 2.0, images and files can be viewed, moved or deleted from the menu system. The LCD display can play a customized slide show of images while music is being played or setup your albums with cover art to be viewed on screen.

The Sony MZ-DH10P is due out this May for $500 including a charging cradle. Sony may have something special here folks, although the camera resolution is nothing spectacular, future versions will be better, and $7 per 1GB disc is fantastic.
